A 42-year-old woman who was found shot to death inside her Milwaukee home Sunday afternoon has been identified by police as Angelin Benson.
Someone fired a shot through the front door of Benson's home in the 2300 block of N. Hubbard St., striking her in the abdomen, according to a statement from police. Benson, who was home alone at the time, was found dead shortly after 4 p.m.
No arrests have been made in connection with the homicide, police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz said.
