Angelin Benson, 42, a Black woman, was found shot to death inside her home on the 2300 block of North Hubbard Street in Milwaukee on December 27, 2009. That Sunday afternoon, someone fired a round through her front door, the bullet striking her in the abdomen while she was alone inside. Officers discovered her shortly after 4 p.m., the quiet of the house broken only by the evidence of a single, deliberate shot that pierced the entryway and ended her life.
