A body was found in a wheat field by farmers On June 4, 1991, the body of 33-year-old Thomas Daryle Williams was discovered in a wheat field in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. His badly burned and mutilated remains were found by a local farmer the next morning. Investigators believe Williams' body had been dragged from a vehicle and set on fire after he had been beaten to death. Metal curtain rings found near the body suggested he had been wrapped in a curtain before being set ablaze.
