A man is found nude and stabbed to death
On May 7, 1983, 23-year-old Ronald Vincent Maurath was last seen leaving the Deseret Lounge on Main Street in Salt Lake City with a group that included one or two men and two women. His body was discovered later that day by workers near the Garfield Cutoff Road, not far from the Kennecott Copper Refinery in Magna, Utah. Ronald was found nude, and investigators determined that he had been stabbed to death. Despite efforts to investigate, his murder remains unsolved.
