On June 13, 1987, Clarine Ann Jones, a 77-year-old woman, was brutally murdered in her home in Tyler, Texas. The suspect, whose identity remains unknown, gained entry to her residence located at 1814 S. Kennedy Street during the early hours of the morning. Once inside, the assailant stabbed Jones multiple times, sexually assaulted her, and left her to die. This violent crime shocked the local community and remains one of Tyler's unsolved cold cases.
