James Baker, a 41-year-old resident of Fort Worth, Texas, was found dead on September 9, 2007, in what became a cold case that haunted both investigators and his loved ones. Initially, active homicide detectives conducted an extensive investigation, but were unable to identify a suspect. With time, the case grew cold and was eventually transferred to the Fort Worth Police Department's Cold Case Unit.
