Eric Manning, 26, was found dead from a gunshot wound in the backyard of his home in Fort Worth, Texas, on January 16, 2016. His body was discovered at around 11 a.m. on the 5700 block of Whittlesley Road. The Tarrant County medical examiner ruled his death as a homicide.

Initially, police suspected the shooting might have been accidental. A woman named Amelia Arroyo, aged 24, was later arrested and charged with Manning's murder. She was booked into the Mansfield Jail with a bond set at ...
