On October 7, 2007, at approximately 9:30 a.m., 28-year-old Jose Diaz was assaulted and robbed by an unidentified individual in the 4200 block of West 34th Street in Houston, Texas. Despite his injuries, Diaz managed to walk a short distance to his apartment, where he informed his family about the attack. He was subsequently transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
