On October 7, 2007, at approximately 9:30 a.m., 28-year-old Jose Diaz was assaulted and robbed by an unidentified individual in the 4200 block of West 34th Street in Houston, Texas. Despite his injuries, Diaz managed to walk a short distance to his apartment, where he informed his family about the attack. He was subsequently transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Tragically, Diaz succumbed to his injuries the following day, October 8, 2007.
The Houston Police Department's Homicide Division initiated an investigation into the incident. Authorities urged anyone with information regarding the case to contact the HPD Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers.
