On April 24, 2008, 16-year-old Willie Fransaw was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred in the early evening hours near the 7000 block of Bissonnet Street. According to police reports, Fransaw was walking home from a friend's house when he was approached by an unknown assailant. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and observed a suspect fleeing the scene on foot. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but Fransaw was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple gunshot wounds.
