On September 21, 2008, Cornelius Durden, 22, was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at around 12:35 a.m. in the 2800 block of South Dairy Ashford. Durden suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including to the left side and shoulder, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators from the Houston Police Department (HPD) responded to the crime scene, but information about suspects or motives was not detailed in the initial reports.
