On the night of September 4, 2009, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Houston police responded to a shooting incident at 3223 South Loop West. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of Chansey Jolivette, a 20-year-old African American male from Houston. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
