Quincy Thompkins, a 27-year-old African American male from Houston, Texas, was found deceased on September 24, 2009. His body was discovered in the 2800 block of Westerland Drive in west Houston, a neighborhood known for its high crime rates. The circumstances surrounding his death suggested a possible drug-related incident.
