On May 13, 2011, 43-year-old Joel Sanchez Carrizalez was found deceased in his 1996 white Chevrolet Silverado, parked in the faculty lot of Olle Middle School in Houston, Texas. Discovered around 6:40 a.m., Carrizalez had been shot to death. His wallet and truck keys were missing, suggesting a possible robbery. Hours before his death, Carrizalez had been at a local cantina with friends, leaving around 4:45 a.m. to drop off a friend.
