James Hardemon, age 12, was killed on June 1, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas, during a drive-by shooting that also injured a 16-year-old who was sleeping inside the home. The incident occurred late at night when multiple suspects approached the house, and at least two of them exited a vehicle, firing shots using a high-powered rifle.
