On July 8, 2013, 53-year-old Martha Batchelor was found deceased in her apartment located in the 4900 block of Woodstone Drive in San Antonio, Texas. Maintenance workers discovered her body, and authorities determined she had been sexually assaulted and murdered approximately two days prior. The crime scene was described as particularly heinous, with evidence suggesting that the perpetrator attempted to clean blood from his hands by wiping them on a bedroom wall. citeturn0search1
