Fabian Olivarez, a 21-year-old from San Antonio, Texas, was shot and killed on August 24, 2013. The incident took place just before midnight at the intersection of Ceralvo and Driftwood, located on the west side of downtown San Antonio. Police reported that the shooting occurred during a robbery that appeared to be linked to a drug deal gone wrong. Olivarez was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead soon after.
