Ismael Siryon, a 58-year-old man, was shot and killed on the night of September 28, 2014, at his residence in southwest Houston. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 9600 block of Azeem. According to authorities, Siryon's roommate heard him come home, followed shortly by a gunshot. The roommate rushed to find Siryon lying on the floor of the entryway, suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived and transported Siryon to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
