On April 10, 2015, Ronald Thirkield Wyatt, a 32-year-old African American male from Fort Worth, Texas, was tragically shot and killed in the Highland Hills neighborhood. The incident reportedly stemmed from an argument over a pair of sunglasses that Wyatt had purchased from another man. According to witnesses, the dispute escalated during a phone conversation, during which the suspect allegedly threatened Wyatt by stating, 'one of us is going to go.'
