On October 2, 2015, 27-year-old Carlos Moreira was fatally shot during a robbery in southwest Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 6360 Skyline. Moreira and a friend were approached by two armed suspects who attempted to rob them. As Moreira tried to flee, he was shot and killed. The suspects then fled the scene.
