Carrie Mae Crowe, a 74-year-old resident of Redding, California, was brutally murdered on September 11, 1980, inside her home on Oxford Lane. Crowe was found stabbed at least 20 times in what appeared to be a violent and targeted attack. Her murder shocked the local community, as she was well-known and respected.
