Carroll Oliver, aged 68, was tragically killed on January 12, 2016, during a robbery outside the McDonald's restaurant he owned in East Houston. The incident occurred around 9:40 a.m. at the McDonald's on the 5300 block of East Freeway. Oliver was reportedly walking to his car, preparing to go to a nearby bank when he was confronted by at least two individuals in a white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe.
