On June 7, 2016, 64-year-old Joe Thompson was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at his residence located in the 5600 block of Greylog Drive. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire and found Thompson inside his home with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
