On June 24, 2016, Jovance Gonzales, aged 26, was fatally shot while riding his bicycle on the East Side of San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred when a silver vehicle approached him, and an occupant fired multiple shots, killing Gonzales at the scene. The authorities quickly responded, but despite follow-up efforts, the identity of the suspect(s) involved remained a significant challenge for the investigation.
