On July 11, 2016, Geovanni Jesus Rios, an 18-year-old from Pasadena, Texas, was fatally shot in a tragic incident in Houston. The shooting occurred while Rios was riding in the back seat of a Chevy Tahoe SUV along the Gulf Freeway feeder near Fuqua. According to the police, video footage captured two vehicles in front of the Tahoe, with a possible suspect leaning out of the back passenger window of one of the cars and firing shots towards the SUV.
