On November 15, 2016, Edmond Ford, aged 30, was fatally shot in his apartment at 9450 Woodfair Drive, Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m., when two masked individuals knocked on his door. When Ford answered the door, he was shot once, resulting in his death at the scene. Both suspects fled the scene on foot after the shooting. The investigation indicated that the crime was premeditated, but the exact motive remains unclear.
