On October 16, 2017, 35-year-old Tyrone Scott was fatally shot during a drive-by shooting in Houston's Third Ward. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. when members of the 103 gang targeted a house on London Street, known to be frequented by their rivals, the Young Scott Block (YSB). Scott, an innocent bystander, was walking nearby when the gang members opened fire on the house. He was struck by the gunfire and died at the scene.
