On December 14, 2017, 26-year-old Rick Cano-Rodriguez was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred in the early morning hours near the 7000 block of Hillcroft Avenue. According to initial reports, Cano-Rodriguez was approached by an unknown assailant who fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but Cano-Rodriguez was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
