On a summer evening in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 25-year-old Harold Avery, Jr. was tragically cut short. On July 7, 2011, at approximately 6:06 p.m., police responded to a shooting at the Hunter Oaks Apartments located at 662 Woodstone Circle. Arriving officers discovered Avery lying unresponsive on the sidewalk within the apartment complex. He was swiftly transported to the MED, but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
