On a chilly evening in Tiverton, Rhode Island, 70-year-old John Walter Kieron was struck by a vehicle in a devastating hit-and-run incident. The event occurred at approximately 5:09 PM on November 23, 2011, at the intersection of Main Road and Hilton Street. The male driver of the car fled the scene, continuing northbound into Fall River, leaving Kieron with grave injuries.
