On February 23, 1999, Theresa Madrigal, a 33-year-old mother of four from Riverside County, went grocery shopping and never returned home. The next day, her body was discovered near the entrance to Lake Poway, over 60 miles from her residence. Theresa had been shot multiple times, and the homicide remains unsolved.
