Michael Bailey, a 25-year-old male, was fatally shot on August 15, 2008, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The homicide took place in an area of the city with high levels of violent crime, with neighborhoods such as Homewood, the Hill District, and North Side experiencing some of the highest victimization rates.
