In the early morning hours of August 14, 2008, the life of 25-year-old Michael Bailey was tragically cut short on a sidewalk in Pittsburgh's Hill District. Bailey was discovered by police officers who were responding to reports of gunfire in the area at approximately 3 a.m. He was found lying face-down on Bedford Avenue, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics arrived at the scene and officially pronounced him dead at 3:11 a.m.
