On a Monday afternoon in May of 2012, a 42 year old Philadelphia father, Shawn Davis Sr., set out to pick up his son from St. Joseph's Preparatory School, a routine trip that ended in tragedy. While stopping for gas on May 21, 2012, Davis was shot multiple times in his car. A friend who was with him at the time was unharmed. Despite his grave injuries, Davis managed to drive about a block before the car flipped.
