In the winter of 2015, a Tuesday night in Philadelphia was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 26-year-old Jeffery Jarvis. On the evening of December 22nd, police were called to the 3000 block of North Carlisle Street in North Philadelphia, where they discovered Jarvis unresponsive. He had been shot multiple times in his legs and torso. Emergency medical personnel rushed him to Temple University Hospital, but his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead at 10:09 p.m.
