On August 17, 1993, George Barnosky, a disability activist in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was tragically murdered in his own home. George, who had cerebral palsy and used a wheelchair, was found by his caregiver on the floor of his living room at his residence on East 5th Place. He had been strangled, and several personal items, including his wallet, money, and checkbook, were missing, leading investigators to believe that robbery was the motive.
