In the early morning hours of April 23, 1995, the body of 18-year-old Rebekah L. Barrett was discovered lying in a street in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Initially, the scene was treated as a potential hit-and-run accident. Emergency services were dispatched to the location near 1900 West Union Street where they found Barrett unconscious.
