On January 11, 1982, Thomas Abbott, a 48-year-old man, was found dead in his apartment located at 3561 Paul Street, Grove City, Ohio. The Grove City Division of Police responded to the report of a homicide and discovered that Abbott had been the victim of a violent assault. He was declared deceased at the scene. Despite investigations, the case remains unsolved and is considered a cold case.
