On June 24, 1982, Ernestine Hurt, aged 48, was tragically stabbed to death on the sidewalk at 202 E. 6th Street in Cincinnati, Ohio. She had just finished her shift at a cleaning company and was walking towards a bus stop when she was attacked. Typically, she was accompanied by her husband or daughter at night, but on this occasion, she was alone.
