On December 25, 1984, David Hite, aged 37, was found dead from gunshot wounds in front of his residence at 997 Leona Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. Authorities responded to the scene and determined that he had sustained multiple gunshot injuries that led to his death. The case has remained unsolved for decades, and it is currently being treated as an open homicide by the Columbus Police Department.
