On June 16, 1989, a tragic arson fire claimed the lives of 25-year-old Carrie Hartney, her two-year-old daughter Pamela Hartney, and her eight-month-old son Benjamin Hartney in Akron, Ohio. The fire occurred at their residence on Andrus Street in Summit County. Investigators determined that the fire was intentionally set, leading to the deaths of the three victims. Despite efforts to gather more information, the case has remained unsolved over the years.
