On May 16, 1994, Arthur Works, a married father of six and a church deacon, was tragically shot and killed along with his colleague, Raymond Ogle, while they were working at JR Motor Sales on West Third Street in Dayton, Ohio. The dealership, which was known as a "buy here, pay here" used car lot, became a crime scene when an unknown assailant entered the premises in the evening and fatally shot both men.
