On April 8, 2000, 82-year-old Alfred Gebauer was attacked in his home at 90 Oviatt Place in Akron, Ohio. According to reports, an unknown suspect forced entry into his home, assaulted him, and left him unconscious. The injuries Alfred sustained during the assault were severe, and he was hospitalized as a result. Despite receiving medical attention, Alfred Gebauer succumbed to his injuries on April 14, 2000.
