On February 11, 2011, Joshua A. Starcher, age 32, was found dead inside his vehicle on Vinegar Street in Pomeroy, Ohio. Starcher had been shot, and his death was classified as a homicide. Earlier that day, Starcher had informed his girlfriend that he was going to meet someone and expected to return soon. Unfortunately, he never came back. Later, a passerby found his body inside the vehicle, prompting an investigation by law enforcement authorities.
