On August 18, 2012, Reico Taylor, a 30-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on the east side of the city. Taylor was found by police after they responded to reports of gunfire in the area. The shooting occurred near East 5th Avenue, and when officers arrived, they discovered Taylor had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
