On July 6, 2013, Mikal Kirkland, age 25, was killed in Columbus, Ohio, during a shooting that also injured Devin Skelton, age 28. The incident occurred around 4:13 a.m. near the intersection of Kimball Place and East Fulton Street, outside an after-hours club. Police responded to reports of gunfire and found both Kirkland and Skelton with gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, Mikal Kirkland was pronounced dead at the scene, while Devin Skelton was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. ...
