Fiasal Omar, a 19-year-old male, was fatally shot on July 9, 2013, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred in the rear area of 5236 Northtowne Boulevard, located on the Northeast side of Columbus. According to police, Omar was found with a gunshot wound to the middle of his chest around 2:00 p.m. He was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead just after 6:00 p.m. that day.
