A man is shot in the head
Ravontae Abernathy, aged 20, was killed on August 5, 2013, in Columbus, Ohio. According to police reports, Abernathy was found shot to death inside a parked white Dodge in front of 885 Miller Avenue. The shooting took place on the west side of the street, and initial investigations suggested that the incident may have been related to a drug deal. Authorities responded to the scene around noon and found Abernathy unresponsive. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
