On April 20, 2014, James Joyner, age 45, was fatally shot in Cincinnati, Ohio. The incident occurred in the Avondale neighborhood, specifically in an Auto Zone parking lot. Police responded to reports of gunfire early that Sunday morning and discovered Joyner with fatal gunshot wounds.
