On August 12, 2016, Tremalik Russell, 21, and Tyreshia Cody, 25, were found shot in a maroon 2003 Pontiac Bonneville in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place at around 4:06 p.m. behind a duplex located in the 1100 block of East 22nd Avenue. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found that the vehicle had crashed into a utility pole, and both victims were suffering from gunshot wounds.
