On March 22, 2017, Janelle Reese, a 33-year-old woman, was found murdered in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place in the South Linden area, specifically in the 1000 block of East 19th Avenue. A U.S. Postal carrier noticed signs of criminal activity outside a residence and contacted the Columbus Division of Police at approximately 2:55 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered Janelle Reese and another victim, Donte Moorer, both dead from gunshot wounds inside the home.
