A man dies from a gunshot wound to the chest On June 16, 2007, 15-year-old Preston Matthew Angelo was fatally shot in Greensboro, North Carolina. Preston had sneaked out of his home in the middle of the night, and the circumstances leading to his shooting remain unclear. He was transported to Moses Cone Hospital by a friend’s mother after the incident but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving.
Despite being well-liked in his community and known for his charm and athleticism, his case remains unsolved, and no suspects have been identified.
