On July 14, 2008, Ray Anthony Suggs, aged 35, was tragically shot and killed outside his home in Kinston, North Carolina. At approximately 2:30 a.m., Suggs was in his yard with a female friend when two unknown men approached them, both armed with handguns. The assailants demanded money, and during the encounter, Suggs was shot by one of the men. After the shooting, both suspects fled the scene, and the case has remained unsolved despite ongoing investigations.
